Information point for internationals in the Brainport region
The Holland Expat Center South is a non-profit public body. It is a joint initiative of the participating municipalities, the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND), Brainport Development, and the province of North Brabant. The organization supports internationals in moving to the region. Besides many other services and events, the center offers information on the Dutch education system and educational opportunities via its website and via an (online) brochure.
Mother tongue programmes - also known as "mother tongue schools" - are often non-profit, grassroots initiatives run by parents from a non-majority language community to preserve the language and culture of their children's heritage.

Information on education from Expat organisations in the Netherlands
Edufax helps families choose a school for their children through a consultation with an education expert. The expert explains the Dutch school system and compares it to that of the child's country of origin. Together with the parents, the expert looks at which school best suits the child. Edufax experts can also assist in making contacts and enrolling in a school.
